Melody's Story
Hard to believe it has been 27 years since high school graduation. I am NOT that old. LOL. Here is a quick rundown of my life since HS.
Graduated with Journalism degree from Eastern Illinois University
Moved to Peoria IL where I worked in newspaper circulation and then advertising.
Moved to CA and got married (Melody Cannon). Stayed in newspapers for a while then did a little retail.
Moved to MO for a few years. Worked for a US House of Representative member
Moved to CA again...Expand for more
and worked in public relations for an internet start-up, a flower seed company and then a transportation company.
Moved to NV -- Las Vegas, baby! Got a divorce. Single for quite a while. Remarried in 2012 (Melody Kelly). Worked in marketing and PR for engineering firm, water district, and PR agency. Been at the largest medical school in state since 2009 as the director of Marketing and PR.
No kids of my own. Two step-kids that are grown. Three dogs. Love living in Vegas.
